BachelorPROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
I. Program Objective
This program is aimed at establishing the fundamental knowledge and application skills of mechanical design and manufacturing, and nurturing talents in production engineering who will be engaged in design and manufacturing, research and development, application study, production management in the field of mechanical manufacturing.
II. Learning Outcomes
Students of this degree will acquire:
1. application of knowledge in mathematics, natural science and mechanical engineering;
2. experimental scheme drafting, operating and data analysis;
3. design of mechanical parts, systems and processes;
4. systematic presentation, modeling, analyzing and demonstration of mechanical engineering problems;
5. preliminary understanding and using of technology, ability and modern tools in mechanical engineering practices;
6. understanding of social obligation and professional ethics;
7. advanced communication and team work;
8. understanding the influence of mechanical engineering on the world and society based on broad knowledge and understanding of modern society issues;
9. continuous studying and lifelong education.
III. Program Highlights
This program integrates the knowledge of information as well as computer science and technology with that of mechanical engineering. It also broadens the disciplinary span in order to produce visible graduates who are more adaptable to the society needs.

Minimum Credits of Curricula (Comprising course system and intensive practical training): 168.9 credits
Major-related basic courses and core courses cannot be covered using credits from other courses in the program.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma and above.
2. Non-Chinese citizens who hold a foreign passport and comply with the relevant regulations set by the “Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC ".
3. Physically and mentally healthy.
4. Applicants under 18 years old (Per September) should provide a letter of guarantee for their guardian in China (notarization required).

3. Language Certificates
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL IBT 85 (different for each university)
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4-6 (levels and minimum scores are different for each major and university)
4. High school diploma (for bachelor degree) and Bachelor or Master diploma (for master and doctoral degree), hasn’t graduated students should provide an official statement from your high school or university as proof of graduation (Pre-Graduation Statement). 6. 2 (two) recommendation letters from your teachers in high school (for bachelor degree) and two university professors (for master and doctoral degrees) along with letterhead and stamp from the school. 8. Additional requirements that apply vary from university to university, for example:
- Entrance Examination / Interview.

Note:
- Documents number 4-6 above, MUST be translated into English / Mandarin, and legalized by the school or you could use the services of a sworn translator.

Single Room: 1,200 RMB/month
Double Room: 700 RMB/month/person
Facilities: Washing room, water heater, air conditioner, furniture.
- Water, electricity and internet are charged by the Room Service Center separately.

6. Residence Permit: 400 RMB/ year
7. Physical examination: 500 RMB (at most)
8. Insurance: Comprehensive Medical Insurance will be offered by HUST to students registered for one semester or above.
