- Founded in 1971, the HUST pharmacy is one of the oldest pharmacy schools in the south-central of China.
- School of pharmacy has established a comprehensive platform for new drug and also co-foundered the national nano-drug research center.
I. Program Objectives
This program aims at cultivating high-quality pharmacists capable of conducting research, manufacturing, quality control, monitoring administration of drugs and their preparations and curatorial operation and administration.
II. Learning Outcomes
Students of this specialty should have the basic knowledge of chemistry and medicine, master the specialized knowledge and techniques of pharmaceutical science, and excel in pharmacy education and practice. After graduation, they will be eligible for engaging in drug R&D, manufacturing, quality control and management, and health care sector.
III. Program Highlights
This program integrates the knowledge of humanities, information and computer science with that of pharmacy so as to broaden the cultivation of talents of good quality in pharmaceutical specialty.

Minimum Credits of Curricular(Comprising course system and intensified practical training):178.5 credits
Major-related basic courses and core courses cannot be covered using credits from other courses in the program.

Comprehensive Practice, Pre-graduation Practice
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma and above.
2. Non-Chinese citizens who hold a foreign passport and comply with the relevant regulations set by the “Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC ".
3. Physically and mentally healthy.
4. Applicants under 18 years old (Per September) should provide a letter of guarantee for their guardian in China (notarization required).

3. Language Certificates
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL IBT 85 (different for each university)
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4-6 (levels and minimum scores are different for each major and university)
4. High school diploma (for bachelor degree) and Bachelor or Master diploma (for master and doctoral degree), hasn’t graduated students should provide an official statement from your high school or university as proof of graduation (Pre-Graduation Statement). 6. 2 (two) recommendation letters from your teachers in high school (for bachelor degree) and two university professors (for master and doctoral degrees) along with letterhead and stamp from the school. 8. Additional requirements that apply vary from university to university, for example:

Note:
- Documents number 4-6 above, MUST be translated into English / Mandarin, and legalized by the school or you could use the services of a sworn translator.

Single Room: 1,200 RMB/month
Double Room: 700 RMB/month/person
Facilities: Washing room, water heater, air conditioner, furniture.
- Water, electricity and internet are charged by the Room Service Center separately.

6. Residence Permit: 400 RMB/ year
7. Physical examination: 500 RMB (at most)
8. Insurance: Comprehensive Medical Insurance will be offered by HUST to students registered for one semester or above.
