BachelorⅠ. Guidance
In order to meet the needs of the rapid development of radio and television broadcasting, we should take teaching reform as the core goal, integrate curriculum resources, pay attention to curriculum construction and education quality, and strive to run the arts of broadcasting and anchoring with its own characteristics. According to the characteristics of applied art talents cultivation , we should strengthen the integration of humanistic quality and scientific spirit, strengthen the proportion of practical teaching in teaching programs, construct students’ knowledge system scientifically, enhance their practical and innovative ability, and comprehensively improve students’ adaptability to audiovisual media and cultural and creative market. Cultivating high-quality talents for the media and our society.
Ⅱ. Objectives
We aim to cultivate students with all-round development of morality, intelligence, aesthetics and physique; pay equal attention to professional skills, artistic accomplishment and literacy; combine specialized theory with practical ability; integrate artistic sense with modern communication technology, cultivate interdisciplinary radio and television broadcasters and anchormen with the ability of planning, interviewing and writing and directing.
Ⅲ. Requirements for Graduation
1、Patriotic, honest and law-abiding, with the correct values and ethics; with highly social responsibility and team-work spirits; with good scientific and cultural awareness. Have professional knowledge in broadcasting and anchoring art, radio and television journalism, mass communication, news interview writing, Chinese language and literature, etc.
2、Master the basic skills and methods of broadcasting and hosting art, and be able to broadcast news and host programs.
3、Understand and master the propaganda policies and disciplines of the Party and the state.
4、Have the basic ability of news interview, writing, editing and production.
5、Have strong ability of oral expression, written expression and scientific research .
6、Know major-related knowledge of politics, economy, philosophy, society, law, psychology, art, aesthetics and other disciplines.
7、Be skillful with using Chinese and foreign language reference books, be able to use computer-based retrieval, be familiar with commonly used editing and production software
8、Be proficient in a foreign language.
9、Be healthy both physically and mentally ; achieve the qualified standards of College Students’ physical exercise.
10、Only by completing the credit requirements of the course stipulated in the training plan and passing the examination of “Situation and Policy”, can students graduate.
11、It is recommended that students select courses which credits are not higher than 27 at the most and not lower than 20 in the 1st and 2nd grade each semester, while students select course which credits are not higher than 24 at the most and not lower than 14 in the 3rd and 4th grade.
12、Length of Schooling and credit requirements: Length of Schooling: 4 years, Total credits:146; students who meet the requirements for the degree will be awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
13、Students are required to graduate in advance or extend the study time which is not more than 6 years (include stopping off school).

3. Platform curriculum of social science:13 credits, accounting for 9%
4. Foundation curriculum:18 credits, accounting for 12%
5. Specialized education curriculum, 68 credits, accounting for 46%

Eligibility
1. High school qualification or above with valid foreign passport.
2. Following students should meet the conditions set by the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC:
(1) Students emigrate from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and obtain the foreign nationality;
(2) Students, whose parents (either or both) hold Chinese nationality and reside abroad, acquire foreign nationality at the time of birth;
3. Applicants of the major of English for overseas students and majors in the School of International Chinese Studies should have HSK-4 with a passing score of 180 or above, and HSK-5 with a passing score of 180 or above for other Chinese-taught programs. Applicants of English-taught programs from non-English native speaking countries should have IELTS (6.0 or above) / TOFEL (80 or above)/Cambridge English (B2 or above) certificate.
4. Guardian's Letter of Guarantee is required for applicants under 18 years old. The guardian should be in China.
Documents required

Please log into the online application system at lxsapply.ecnu.edu.cn to fill in the application form.
2. High school graduation certificate
A scanned copy of the original certificate, if not in Chinese or English, a notarized and translated version in Chinese or English is required.
Graduating students should provide a certificate of impending graduation. The expected time to obtain the degree certificate should be earlier than August 31, 2021 and the graduation certificate must be submitted when registering;
3. Complete high school transcript
Must be in Chinese or English, and notarized Chinese or English translations are required for other languages;
4. Language Proficiency Certificate
For Chinese-taught programs: copy of the effective (within 2 yrs) HSK certificate. Required HSK levels for each major should be referred to bachelor major list.
For English taught program: IELTS (6.0 or above) / TOFEL (80 or above)/Cambridge English (B2 or above) certificate.
5. Letter of self-recommendation (500-800 words. Applicants of Chinese-taught programs should write in Chinese.)
6. Photocopy of passport (including personal information page and Chinese visa pages)
7. Guardian's Letter of Guarantee is required for applicants under 18 years old.
Documents required by Scholarship programs:
1. Effective (within 6 months) Health Certificate
Physical examination report must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and provide the detailed blood test report. Incomplete forms or forms without the applicants' photograph, a sealed photograph of the applicant, the official stamp of the hospital, or signature of physician are considered as invalid.
2. Non-criminal Certificate(notarized photocopy in English or Chinese).
Documents required by school or institute:
1. For applicants of School of Design, a video of self-introduction and design procedure is required.
2. Applicants of Dept. of Fine Art must submit the latest original artwork.
Note:
* The application documents and application fee will not be returned no matter you are accepted or not.
* Applicants must ensure that the application information and application materials provided are true and accurate. If the admissions unit or certification department verifies that anything in the application is not true, the application, admission or study qualification will be canceled.
* Once admitted, applicants cannot be registered at two universities at the same time. Once found, the study qualification will be canceled.
