FACULTY AND TALENT PROJECT
There are currently 17 teachers in the major of TAXATION, including 4 professors, 5 associate professors, and 8 lecturers. Teachers with doctor degrees account for 82%.
The current professional teachers of the major have been awarded the titles of various types of talents: 2 persons in the second level of “151 Talents in Zhejiang Province” and 3 persons in the third level. One teacher is awarded as teaching master in Zhejiang Province; two teachers are the young and middle-aged discipline leaders in Zhejiang Province, and three teachers are the young and middle-aged discipline leaders in ZUFE.
TRAINING DESTINATION AND CURRICULUM SYSTEM
The major of TAXATION is led by the school’s goal of Constructing an Innovation and Entrepreneurial University of Finance and Economics. It takes the responsibility of cultivating high-quality taxation talents and strives to build a well-known tax training ground for the country. The major aims at fostering and practicing the core values of socialism, and it can adapt to the needs of building a socialist market economy actively. It has a sense of social responsibility, public awareness, international perspective, and innovative spirit. It masters not only theoretical knowledge but business skills on economics, public finance, taxation, and accounting. And it has compound, applied, innovative and entrepreneurial management talents who can comprehensively use professional knowledge to analyze and solve tax-related issues.
The major provides talents for Finance Bureaus, taxation bureaus and social intermediaries such as accounting firms and tax agencies.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma and above.
2. Non-Chinese citizens who hold a foreign passport and comply with the relevant regulations set by the “Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC ".
3. Physically and mentally healthy.
4. Applicants under 18 years old (Per September) should provide a letter of guarantee for their guardian in China (notarization required).

3. Language Certificates
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL IBT 85 (different for each university)
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4-6 (levels and minimum scores are different for each major and university)
4. High school diploma (for bachelor degree) and Bachelor or Master diploma (for master and doctoral degree), hasn’t graduated students should provide an official statement from your high school or university as proof of graduation (Pre-Graduation Statement). 6. 2 (two) recommendation letters from your teachers in high school (for bachelor degree) and two university professors (for master and doctoral degrees) along with letterhead and stamp from the school. 8. Additional requirements that apply vary from university to university, for example:
- Entrance Examination / Interview.

Note:
- Documents number 4-6 above, MUST be translated into English / Mandarin, and legalized by the school or you could use the services of a sworn translator.

4. Accommodation:
- University Hotel: RMB 300 to RMB 500/day (Double Room); Standard Hotel Room, equipped with television, phone, air-conditioner, water heater, furniture, bedding, access to internet (no extra fee).
- School Dormitory (On Campus): RMB 8.000/year (2 to 4 people share); Equipped with air-conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine. Water, electricity and internet fee not covered.
- Apartment (Off Campus): RMB 2.500/month (Double Room to Triple Room); One Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, equipped with air-conditioner, washing machine, water heater, furniture, bedding, access to internet. Water, electricity and internet fee not covered.
