Electronic science and technology are the basis of modern electronic information industry, and its development status is an important symbol of the high technology level of a country.
The microelectronics college of tianjin university has a first-level doctoral program in electronic science and technology, a postdoctoral research station, and a master's degree and doctor's degree.

2. Training objectives
The electronic science and technology major aims to cultivate a solid theoretical foundation, professional knowledge and experimental skills in the field of modern electronic technology, microelectronics and solid electronics.

To master the theoretical and technical excellence of electronic information materials and components, microelectronics, microelectronics, integrated circuit design and testing, etc.
3. Core courses
Basic courses: circuit analysis basis, signal and system, electronic circuit foundation, digital logic circuit, electromagnetic field theory, semiconductor physics, dielectric physics, etc.
Professional core courses: microelectronics devices, electronic components, microelectronics process principle, digital integrated circuit design, analog integrated circuit design, vlsi design language, the application of FPGA principle.
General Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and must comply with the relevant regulations stipulated in "Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC."
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants who will be under 18 years of age (as of September) must provide a notarized Letter of Guarantee from their designated guardian in China.

- Language Proficiency Certificates:
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL iBT 85 (requirements vary by university).
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4–6 (levels and minimum scores vary by major and university).
- Academic Diplomas: High School Diploma (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's/Master's Diploma (for Master's/Doctoral Degree applicants). - Two (2) Letters of Recommendation: Required from two high school teachers (for Bachelor's Degree) or two university professors/associate professors (for Master's/Doctoral Degrees). Note
- Documents 4 through 6 MUST be translated into English or Mandarin and officially legalized by the issuing institution. Alternatively, the services of a sworn translator may be utilized.
