On the basis of teaching basic knowledge, our legal education focuses on improving the level of students' theoretical research and judicial practice ability, through thesis writing and real case analysis. Students can also improve their English level by taking legal courses taught in English, or selecting English courses as their minor, in order to lay a good foundation for their international vision. Our undergraduate education also benefits from our advantage in the research fields of environmental law, intellectual property law, criminal law and technology law, where we have achieved fruitful research outcome.
The Aim for Our Education
We plan to cultivate senior legal experts, who have a solid knowledge of general law and certain branches of law, and are therefore professed in both legal theory and practice. Our final aim is to make our students very well educated and qualified to provide legal service for the national economic construction and sustainable development.

Career Aspects of Our Graduates
Our graduates have a promising career future and most of them are very well welcomed by their employers. We have maintained a high rate of employment for our graduates. Many graduates become governmental officials, judges, prosecutors, and lawyers. We can also find our alumni in different enterprises, who work as a legal counselor. Moreover, there are a large number of graduates who pursue further education in China or abroad.
Cooperation
We have signed many cooperative agreements with foreign law schools and have established many academic exchange platforms. We have kept cooperative relationship with the Chinese Supreme Court, the Supreme Procuratorate, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Justice, China Law Society, the Higher People's Court of Tianjin, Tianjin Municipal Procuratorate, Tianjin Municipal Congress, Tianjin Legislative Affairs Office, Tianjin Justice Bureau, Tianjin Law Society and other institutes. We also have a cooperative relationship with public media, such as CCTV, the Central People's Broadcasting Station, the People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Social Science Newspaper, Legal Daily, People’ Court Daily, People's Procuratorate Daily, Tianjin TV, Tianjin Daily and other news media.
General Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport and must comply with the relevant regulations stipulated in "Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the PRC."
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants who will be under 18 years of age (as of September) must provide a notarized Letter of Guarantee from their designated guardian in China.

- Language Proficiency Certificates:
- English Taught: IELTS with an overall score of 5.5/6.0 or TOEFL iBT 85 (requirements vary by university).
- Chinese Taught: HSK 4–6 (levels and minimum scores vary by major and university).
- Academic Diplomas: High School Diploma (for Bachelor's Degree applicants) or Bachelor's/Master's Diploma (for Master's/Doctoral Degree applicants). - Academic Transcripts: High School Transcripts (for Bachelor's Degree) or University Transcripts (for Master's/Doctoral Degrees), compiled into a single file. - Two (2) Letters of Recommendation: Required from two high school teachers (for Bachelor's Degree) or two university professors/associate professors (for Master's/Doctoral Degrees). Letters must be issued on official letterhead, bear an official stamp from the institution, and include the recommender's email and phone number.

- Additional Requirements: Specific requirements vary by university. Examples include:

Note
- Documents 4 through 6 MUST be translated into English or Mandarin and officially legalized by the issuing institution. Alternatively, the services of a sworn translator may be utilized.
- Please neatly scan each document into PDF format. The file size for each document must not exceed 35 MB (the passport photograph must adhere to the specific requirements listed above). All documents must then be uploaded to the system at www.greatwall.co.id.
