Materials Science and Engineering (School of Material Science and Engineering)
MasterMaterials Physics and Chemistry in the field of materials science and engineering has the characteristics of focusing on fundamental research and applied fundamental research. Its research has covered the structure and phase transformation of materials, crystal growth and its control, physical properties and characterization of materials, physical and chemical behavior of surface and interface, nanomaterials, and controlled solidification theory.
Materials Science is a subject researching on the relationship among materials’ formation, structure, processing, property and performance. It is committed to the performance optimization, processing optimization, and development& application of materials.
Materials Processing Engineering is a subject focusing on the research on controlling outside shape, inside structure &property of materials and applied processing technology. The educational system of full-time master candidates is given priority to two years flexible length within 5 years. The total credits are equal to or above 26.

- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health both physically and mentally with good academic background,who must observe Chinese laws as well as university rules and regulations,and respect Chinese customs.
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or certification of equivalent education,under the age of 35.The high school diploma must be ready prior to the registration day.
- Must have minimum requirements for IELTS total score 5.5,TOEFL score 80.
