Application Requirements

(1) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and Bachelor's degree for master's program applicants, in good physical and mental health.

(2) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and Master's degree for doctoral program applicants, in good physical and mental health.

(3) Language Proficiency:

Chinese Medium Programs

Chinese language proficiency of HSK 4 (score 210 or above) or HSK 5. If you have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree taught in Chinese in China, you may apply for exemption for HSK requirements.

English Medium Programs

Good English language proficiency. For those whose native language is not English, please provide score report of English language test (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS/others).

5. Remittance receipt of the application fee

1. Application fee (non-refundable): RMB 500

2. Tuition: RMB 30.000/year

3. Insurance: RMB 800/year

4. Medical Examination: About RMB 535 payable to Ningbo International Healthcare Center

5. Residence Permit: RMB 800/year payable to Ningbo Immigration Administration

6. Accommodation:

-Yangguang International Students Apartment:

Single Room RMB 1.200/Month/Person

Double Room RMB 900/Month/Person

-Wong Chingmao International Student Dormitory (Yong Jiang Dormitory):

Double Room RMB 4.000/Academic Year/Person

Quad Room RMB 2.500/Academic Year/Person

-Dormitory Building 5 & 8 (Public Bathroom per floor)

Double Room CNY 2.000/Academic Year/Person

-International Student Dormitory on Meishan Campus 

Double Room CNY 3.500/Academic Year/Person

7. Living cost (food): Approximately RMB 1.000/month

※ Those who are unable to get the student visa can apply for full tuition fee refund. All refunds will only be made to the bank and account holder (or other financial institution) that originally paid the fee.
