MasterPROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The master's degree program is dedicated to cultivating senior application-oriented talents with socialist news communication concepts and proficient modern news communication skills for the news and publicity departments of state organs and institutions, local news media and advertising companies. The master's program is based on the scientific research platform of the school of journalism and communication jointly established by ningbo university, the publicity department of ningbo municipal party committee, ningbo education bureau, ningbo broadcasting group and ningbo daily group, and the institute of modern communication to carry out the training of masters in journalism and communication.
Application Requirements
(1) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and Bachelor's degree for master's program applicants, in good physical and mental health.
(2) Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport and Master's degree for doctoral program applicants, in good physical and mental health.
(3) Language Proficiency:
Chinese Medium Programs
Chinese language proficiency of HSK 4 (score 210 or above) or HSK 5 (score 180 or above). If you have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree taught in Chinese in China, you may apply for exemption for HSK requirements.
English Medium Programs
Good English language proficiency. For those whose native language is not English, please provide score report of English language test (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS/others).

※ Those who are unable to get the student visa can apply for full tuition fee refund. All refunds will only be made to the bank and account holder (or other financial institution) that originally paid the fee.
